From Mind to Body: June's Akashic Astrology
What the Gemini-to-Cancer shift, the Venus-Jupiter conjunction and June's lunations are asking of you 🤩
The month of June is our last month of orienting before we’re being asked to really step into what we’ve been becoming, which is actually just about peeling off layers that aren’t really us. June is about going inward so we can see which layers need to be shed before we allow ourselves to be fully seen. Even being in Gemini season, Mercury (the ruler of Gemini) is in Cancer after all, so there is a sense of going inward and feeling into what is happening for us intellectually.
The Sun will move from Gemini into Cancer, so we see that we start out the month a bit more in the mind, more cerebral. We’re sifting through information that’s flying at us, deciding what we want to think about and how and when and why and with whom do we talk about these things that we’ve been thinking about… this sentence is a good representation of Gemini energy 😜. Moving into Cancer, we’re wanting all of the information, the fun, the thoughts, the whatever, to land into the body. We’re wanting to now check in with the emotional body and ask it how are you.
The through-line: June is Devotion to Self. Moving from Gemini’s mental/cerebral activity into Cancer’s embodied inner life and Truth. This allows you to express yourself authentically and with Sovereignty. Creating a sense of devotion to your truest self as you get more in touch with what that means and looks like for you.
Gemini —> Cancer shift: We go from being in our heads to being in our bodies. From operating intellectually to more intuitively. Honoring both.
Devotion to Self: This is the practice. Choosing yourself above all else and knowing that this is the greatest act of service. When you begin to act from a place of Sovereignty, everything you give and express is amplified and even more high frequency. Choose yourself in small, real ways every single day.
June 9th — Venus & Jupiter conjunction in Cancer: let your sovereign inner-child experience joy and allow for the expansive feeling of that joy to radiate outward. What are you allowing yourself to experience that feels like a heart expander? What are you allowing yourself to experience that feels like it honors and nourishes your inner world?
New Moon in Gemini: You get to choose how you want to communicate with yourself; how do you want to access and utilize your intuition?
Full Moon in Capricorn: What has crystallized in your inner world that you’re now ready to put out into the world?
What are we preparing for: Chiron starting a 7-year attunement for our physical bodies and our self-worth stories in Taurus; Jupiter entering Leo and expanding our capacity for visiblity (within ourselves — allowing ourselves to be seen by ourselves — and/or out in public) over the next year.
In our June AA (Akashic Astrology) Meeting, we discussed the topic of Devotion to Self.
I will shout from the rooftops forever and ever that Devotion to Self is the Greatest Act of Service. Put it on my tombstone next to I’m right behind you. (how hilarious is that LOL) I go more in depth on this in my monthly Meeting for June and you can watch the replay for free if you sign up here. But a beautiful way to begin your own practice of Self-Devotion, which is really just allowing yourself to experience unadulterated joy and pleasure, is by amplifying your own idea of what that means with the energies of the cosmos.
Jupiter and Venus will be meeting up in Cancer on June 9th. This is exciting and everyone is talking about it. The two benefics having a nice rendevouz in Cancer. Lush. I went into the Akashic Records and asked to feel the energy of this transit and the feeling I got was overwhelmingly happy. And the overwhelm, the excess, is the shadow side of this conversation between the two — but while in the Records, the following is what came through:
This feels like a father-daughter duo. It’s like… Venus is able to be her sovereign self and Jupiter is hyping her up like yes, more of YOU babe, more, go, go, go. [I was just smiling and laughing through this] It’s like when your kids say, “watch this” and you’re just like “yes, go, go, go” and you’re fully hyping them up and excited about them being so silly and themselves and then they start doing crazy shit, literally jumping off the walls — so that’s where we need to be careful.
The tipping point of yes, you’re crushing it and pushing the limits, to suddenly overdoing it and getting hurt or having something backfire in some way.

It feels deeply nourishing in that expressive way of being who you are. So I really think it anchors into this idea of the June energy of Devotion to Self and allowing yourself to be joyful and to connect with your inner child and to let that part of you radiate so that you can really magnetize everything that you want because everything you’re draming of yours already. And when you’re getting into alignment with yourself, getting rid of the thoughts and the patterns and the beliefs that are not yours, it jsut collapses the space that your dream life needs to travel to become your current reality.
Ultimately: find the joy. This is how you expand into your Sovereignty. Expnding your inner life, your inner light. Which is a really beautiful jumping off point for Leo season and for when both Venus and Jupiter enter Leo, followed by the Sun. And then of course we have eclipses coming up shortly thereafter! The energy really dials up in July and August, so June is our soft landing into ourselves to ready ourselves for visibility. And visibility doesn’t need to be completely outward, it can mean finally seeing YOURSELF in all of your glory and majesty.
